Joan Harris is an invaluable asset to our family. Our independent and bright mother has been struggling with more than one type of dementia for over two years. Joan has been consistently inventive, caring and forward thinking in her work with our mother and with us. She is extremely responsive when any of us reaches out, has educated us well about dementia and strategies to help our mother and has managed the very difficult time of the pandemic smoothly and confidently. It would be impossible for us to work and navigate our mother’s needs without Joans’s help. Joan is able to say the hard things that need to be said while understanding and attending to the emotional impact. We are very grateful to work with her and have her with us on this difficult life journey.
