Back by popular demand, and led by Kasey Larsen, BA, MA, this session offers a guided exploration of the intersections between fine art and music. It is designed to foster connection and creativity, particularly for individuals in the early stages of memory loss. Care partners are welcome to join, creating a supportive and enriching experience for all.
“In December, my father and I had the pleasure of attending the first session of “Capturing the Human Experience through Music & Art” with Kasey Larsen, and it was an extraordinary experience. This is an unsolicited testimonial because I felt compelled to share just how fantastic Kasey was. She skillfully drew us into the session with her infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm for the deep connection between fine art and music. Through her guidance, we discussed how effortlessly we can “picture” music in our minds and “listen” to a painting. Her engaging approach turned abstract concepts into vivid, relatable experiences. The session was not only enlightening but plain fun as well as an opportunity to socialize in a refreshing way.
A heartfelt thank you to Symphony Care Management for providing this unique and enriching opportunity. We will be back for the next sessions!”
